Founded in 1999, Elken’s nutraceutical manufacturing plant covers a total area of 8,700 sq ft, and is able to produce 5 billion tablets of spirulina, 100 million capsules, 22 million sachets of collagen and 9 million sachets of meal replacements annually. The plant received GMP certification in 2001, 2003 and 2014, HCCP and ISO certification, and is also recognised as a Halal facility.

The Manufacturing Facility designs, manufactures and retails comprehensive solutions to clients paired with professional and reliable after sales services – with products exported to USA, Europe, Japan, Korea, S.E.A., India and other countries in the world. The Manufacturing Facility is also recognised with the WQA Gold Seal from the Water Quality Association from the United States for its adherence to the highest level of industry standards.
Elken’s research laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility that utilises the science of genetics and genomics to provide actionable reports and solutions to business partners and consumers. The ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory is headed by Malaysia’s very own renowned pioneer of genetic research, Dr. Koh Chong Lek, who has over 50 years of experience in molecular biology and genetics. Featuring the widely adopted Illumina Infinium HTS array, the research laboratory provides its clients with diverse analytical needs and services through its highly experienced and skilled scientific team.
